For sporty and active people there are varied possibilities of hiking and cycling in the Bavarian Forest, the Rope Climbing Centre near the town, where you can test and safely practise your braveness. Children will like the local Aquacentre Aqua-fit with a spiral chute and many other interesting things, and adults will appreciate the salty whirlpool with underwater jets and additional iodine water. At a nearby ranch you can take a horse-ride and a pony-ride (for children), or play a minigolf. There is a big children's playground behind the hotel.
There is another speciality open during the warm months – the great fun fair Churpfalz Park (the first opening day for the year 2012 is the 31th March) where for a lump-sum you can enjoy all the attractions up to tiredness and in that way spend a whole day to make your children happy :-)
